About Us

myBuddy was created by pet parents who struggled to keep up with their furry friends’ needs in an ever changing world. We understand the challenges of traditional pet care, such as having to take time off of work, commuting in traffic, and waiting at the office. That’s why we set out to make pet care timely and convenient.

During the app development process, we spoke with many veterinarians and noticed an overarching theme – doctors who just wanted to help pets were overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. 

Our platform solves both of these issues. We strive to empower pet parents and veterinarians alike. myBuddy allows veterinarians to focus on what they do best so that pets get the best care possible. 

What makes myBuddy different from other pet care apps? Our platform was designed hand in hand with the veterinarian community for the doctor, not a management company. 

Lisa Lippman initially joined as a consultant and in time became our lead veterinarian. Her leadership is imperative to the creation and continued success of the myBuddy platform and Pet Health Technologies.
